Goodbye 2021... Welcome 2022 !!

Goodbye 2021... Welcome 2022.... I am sure I am not alone in saying Goodbye to last year, having everything I have crossed that this year is not as overwhelmed by COVID 19 !! Please let us all get back to some kind of normal ??

Here at the shop we are rebuilding after another hectic Xmas, Tony and I's 37th Alternative one, yes, we know we don't look old enough .. ?? We have lots of new stock ordered and are looking forward to the unpacking of boxes, remerchandising the shop and seeing the reaction of our customers ( hopefully good )

We are still not thinking about attending any trade shows with thousands of people attending them, we are very lucky that after all these years in this industry that we have really good relationships with agents/companies and it is not too difficult to order new lines remotely. In the old days of going to Trade Shows, the exhibitors stand with most people looking around it was the one you wanted to go and see what was causing the interest, now we would run a mile from it !! Now we have to trust our experience a little more, choosing things we ' think ' will sell, and take a risk or two, that is really more Tonys forte, mine is reminding him of where he went wrong ...LOL

We are SO grateful to everyone who came and supported us last year, either in the shop or online, here a few of the best selling items they bought that are carried over to this year, in the Gift Trade some lines run for years and others weeks .. We look forward to seeing you in the shop, to see what you think of our 2022 ranges, have a look online, or if you're lucky, as we are, to live in the Lakes, do both ??
