I'm sure you have notice the huge increase in Motor Homes and Campervans on the road, another positive effect of COVID, you're own space and in the great outdoors. The fabulous thing about them is the freedom they give you to enjoy wherever you want to base yourself. A lot of the ones we see in the Lake District are the smaller versions so there is no restriction of which roads you can travel on. Having invested in one of these amazing vehicles you are not going to leave it parked on your drive, everyone is intent on using them as much as possible. We see people coming to the Lakes in their ' second home ' so much more than they ever could before. The accomodation is paid for, available and can be jumped into at a moments notice when the forecast is good..... what's not to love !!
