Times are changing !!

As May 17th approaches, with the changes to what we are allowed to do that that date means, it is exciting and nerve racking at the same time ?! We look forward to welcoming more people to the gorgeous Lake District from that date, Hotels and B & B's are all allowed to be open and from what we hear they are booked solid until the end of summer. We are so happy for all other businesses being able to get some much needed income .... we know how difficult not trading is !!

We have been nicely busy since we were allowed to open on April 12th, we are so grateful to all the locals and the visitors for supporting Alternative, a BIG thank you. For our part we have worked hard through Lockdown to make the shop as safe as possible for our customers, and our team of ladies that work with us. They are now back full time, furlough hopefully will become a dim and distant memory, never to be revisited.

We have got lots of stock delivered, old favourites and new exciting ranges as well. So, if you're planning a trip to Keswick, come and say Hello and have a browse, we'd love to see you.
